Proofing

On all projects, we will submit email proofs for your review and approval. This includes work we have prepared for you, or any work you have submitted to us as a ‘ready to print’ PDF. Proofs are mandatory, unless otherwise explicitly stated by you. Proof emails must be replied to us marked ‘Approved’ or ‘Revised Proof Required’, with a description of the requested corrections. Until the proof is replied to in writing by email, no additional work will be performed. We will not be responsible for any errors on approved proofs, or proofs waived by you. All requests for changes of any kind must be made in writing and may be subject to additional fees.

Colour

We will produce all colour to the best of our ability, within acceptable industry standards and machine or process limitations. Because of differences in monitors, operating systems, colour profiles, and other conditions between email proofing and production pressroom operations, variation between colour proofs and the completed product is to be expected. When such a variation occurs, it will be considered acceptable performance. If colour matching is required, actual material samples should be provided. Additional fees will apply.

Production Materials

We reserve the right to substitute equivalent or upgraded material at no additional charge, for any product ordered (unless otherwise stated in the details/special instructions).

Billing and Payment

Unless otherwise stated on our invoice, all projects are to be paid in full prior to print. We reserve the right to request a deposit payment prior to first proofing. Payment can be made by credit/debit card, or by electronic bank payment. We do not accept cheques or cash.

Privacy Policy

You have a legal right to ask us to delete your account and all associated personal details for any reason. Should you wish to do this please send your request to orders@surreyhillsprint.uk.

Copyright and Legal

The use of copyright texts in any design is the sole responsibility of the client placing the order. You have a legal responsibility to ensure appropriate permission is sought before using any copyright text or image. This generally includes all works that have been published within the last 70 years. Reference to the copyright holder should be included somewhere in the design.

We reserve the right to reject any order which contains illegal content or images, or where we suspect your order is intended for illegal use. Illegal content may include, but is not limited to, content that is harmful, radical, inciteful, racist, discriminatory, pornographic.

Delivery

We aim to despatch all orders confirmed by 10.30am on the same working day, or in the case of orders placed on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday, on the next working day. Larger orders may take longer to complete. Guidelines will be given against specific products in these instances. Confirmed orders are those completed online and paid for or orders we have prepared for you, and you have agreed are ready to print and paid for.

Most orders are despatched using DPD, a signed-for service reaching UK mainland destinations on the NEXT WORKING DAY, either ‘anytime’ or ‘before 12noon’ as selected by the client. In practice, this means MONDAY TO FRIDAY – excluding Bank Holidays – although for an additional charge we can arrange a SATURDAY DELIVERY.

We reserve the right to raise additional delivery charges and/or use an alternative delivery method to the following UK island postcodes: HS (ALL), IM (ALL), IV (ALL), KA (27-28), KW (ALL), PA (20-49 & 60-78) PH (17-26 & 30-44 & 49-50), PO (30-40), TR (21-25), ZE (ALL), LL (58-62 & 64-78). You should allow an additional 24/48 hours for delivery to these postcodes.

All our delivery services are scheduled to arrive on the NEXT WORKING DAY or when requested a SATURDAY, but we recommend you allow 2 working days for your order to arrive to avoid disappointment. This allows for any problems or unforeseen circumstances that may arise during the delivery process. These may include, but are not limited to, weather conditions, road accidents, staff illness, mechanical breakdown.

You agree to advise us of any worries or concerns about late delivery at the earliest opportunity so that we can investigate.

We will advise you of the outcome of our investigations at the earliest opportunity.
